Marseille have secured a dominant victory over Strasbourg in their Ligue 1 match at the Stade Vélodrome on Sunday evening.
The visitors started strongly but were soon punished by a goal from Payet, who had previously scored for his country against Algeria earlier this month. The Frenchman then scored twice more to complete his hat-trick, with one coming after just three minutes of added time.
The second half was dominated by Marseille, who continued to create chances and score goals. They finally broke the deadlock in the 55th minute when Guendouzi headed home a cross from Mandanda. Undav completed the scoring in the 88th minute, finishing off a well-worked move involving Gignac and Mandanda.
Marseille now sit top of the table with 24 points, while Strasbourg remain bottom with only two points. It's been a tough start to the season for the Alsace side, having lost all six of their opening fixtures.
Overall, it was a strong performance from Marseille, who showed why they are considered one of the best teams in France. Their attacking play was impressive and they created plenty of chances, which ultimately led to their victory. It will be interesting to see how they perform against some of the other top sides in the league in the coming weeks.
